Dan Theodorescu, MD, PhDDan Theodorescu, MD, PhD

Director,
Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute Cedars-Sinai

Driving research to realize powerful treatments and exquisite care for patients facing cancer. This vision guides Dr. Dan Theodorescu as he leads an integrated team of investigators and physicians to identify creative approaches that will shape modern cancer care. His mission focuses on three core areas: precision medicine to personalize treatments; “big data” to solve difficult research and treatment questions; and population health ideas to improve the lives of our patient community. Dr. Theodorescu, who joined Cedars-Sinai on July 1, brings a wealth of experience in fully realizing this pursuit. Read full bio »

Host of AirTalk

Larry Mantle hosts the daily interview/call-in program AirTalk with Larry Mantle, heard locally on Southern California Public Radio's 89.3 KPCC (Los Angeles and Orange counties), 89.1 KUOR (Inland Empire and High Desert), and 90.3 KPCV (Coachella Valley). The show airs throughout Southern California, weekdays from 10 a.m.–noon.
